The staff were all AMIABLE, very welcoming. The location was marvellous and good, convenient to all major attractions, the hotel overlooked the sea. And it was also near Auckland in around a hour, supermarket and the city centre.

I had a wonderful experience at Coastal Motor Lodge. Upon arrival, I was thrilled to find a spacious queen studio with a fantastic view. the room's amenities were well-maintained and added to the comfort of my stay. the hotel's location is absolutely marvelous, right next to the ocean, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Although this was the most expensive motel I stayed in on my 2week road trip it was also the best. Welcoming staff, a very comfortable room and bed. I liked the fact that my room had the bed tucked away behind a shelf unit so it wasn't right opposite the front door unlike most of the other places I stayed at. The fridge was also quiet which may sound random, but I normally have to turn off the fridge to get some sleep - not here though! I thought it was a lovely place to stay with the sound of waves as I drifted off to sleep, and although it's situated on the main road the traffic is very quiet at night so I was not disturbed at all. I'd definitely recommend Coastal Motor Lodge and would stay again.

The only negative aspect was the parking - it seemed as though a lot of the rooms had people using more than one car so it could get a bit tight for space.

i had a thoroughly enjoyable experience here, everything was beautiful, the location was beautiful next to attractions on the peninsular and the one shopping centre in town. the staff were easy going and helpful with requests. breakfast even with extra bacon added to my order. overall the service was good.

I can highly recommend Coastal Motor Lodge and would love to stay there again. It offers great value, and the room was recently refurbished, making for a comfortable stay. the staff were efficient and helpful! Plus, the location is beautiful and convenient, within walking distance of all the places we wanted to visit.
